I’ve added some new promotional images for Scout’s upcoming ‘Love Ranch’, which is set for release this coming summer. A brand new theatrical poster and the first press still for the film have been added to the gallery. The film is set for a debut at Cannes Film Festival, which is taking place this week. Can’t wait to see this!

Scout has received a nomination from the 2010 MTV Movie Awards for the ‘Scared as S***’ for her performance as tormented Laurie Strode in Halloween 2. She’s facing some tough competition but we need to help her get the award that she so clearly deserves, because lets face it, nobody does scared like Scout does. Click here to cast your vote!
The good news does not stop there, though. ‘The Runaways’ has also been nominated for Best Movie and you can cast your vote here to support Scout and the movie.

Above is an interview scout did just over a week ago with John Torrani for Horrornews.net. She looks hot & is working her The Runaways t-shirt. They talk about their common interest in Bring It On, the cheerleading films as well as working on The Runaways & learning new instruments. Click above to watch it.

In the mid- to late ’70s, the Runaways, a packaged group of choppy-haired teen-glam feline punkettes from L.A., did for girls playing power chords what the Sex Pistols did for beer-spewing anarchy. Not that they were very popular. (They were huge in Japan…and that’s about it.) If anything, the Runaways seem cooler now than they did then; it’s only in hindsight that they come off as fearless trailblazers rather than as a novelty act. The most entertaining thing about The Runaways, a highly watchable if mostly run-of-the-mill group biopic, is that its writer-director, Floria Sigismondi, has a sixth sense for how the Runaways were bad-angel icons first and a rock & roll band second.
‘The Runaways’ is getting great reviews across the board, with most critics rating the film between B and C grades. As most of you will know, the movie is only playing in selected theaters at present but will be released nationwide on April 9th 2010.
